Candle Care

Taking care of your candle helps every burn feel just as good as the first. A few small habits can make a meaningful difference in how your candle performs, smells, and lasts.

before you light it

Allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges on the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling and creates a smooth, even surface for future use.

Trim the wick to about ¼ inch before lighting. A shorter wick creates a cleaner flame and a gentler burn.

while it’s burning

Let your candle burn for two to four hours at a time. This allows the fragrance to open up and keeps the wax pool even.

Place your candle on a stable, heat-safe surface and away from drafts. Gentle stillness helps the flame stay calm and steady.

after each use

Once the wax has cooled, gently trim the wick before relighting. This keeps the flame clean and helps your candle last longer.

If any debris falls into the wax, remove it before lighting again.

a gentle note

Never leave a candle unattended. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and always extinguish the flame before leaving the room.
